[DOTW] Return to...Allruh — Description

The war has been won.
The risk Ambassador Andromeda took when going behind her leaders back to ask their neighbours for help had paid off. Their pack was still alive...but...
...how could they make sure that They would keep their distance? How could Hintertomb go on like this?

Perhaps it was time to look at their past, at how the pack used to survive...after all, they were still here since the dawn of time, weren't they?
So, what if they would return to their roots now?

Two years ago I was asked if I'd be interested in taking over Hintertomb as its packleader, as otherwise the pack would have to be disbanded. Not wanting to lose Inkeri, who would not have been able to integrate into any other pack, I accepted. I had never done something like this before, I had no administrative experience at all, I'm socially anxious and quite frankly, scared of other people. But I gave it a try and here we are now.

First, I could have never done this at all without Hobby, she's just absolutely amazing and such a joy to work with and I can not put into words how thankful I am for her to be this pack's Scribe. For the past two years we have worked on this change, carefully plotting the switch to be organically, asking for the pack players feedback, the other staffs ideas and just...organizing and writing so, so much stuff.

This was the biggest project I have ever taken part in, nothing I ever did, no school project, no work stuff comes close to how this went. Today feels weird, honestly, like I am moving IRL. It's weird to finally see this become reality!

So, what is this?

Hintertomb is no more. The pack has been officially rebranded to Allruh.
Canon pieces will follow later, as well as the finale of the bird war and some information in the turnover journal (as well as some main gallery changes I can not do due to them being Council only areas :´> ), but we did not want to rush anyone with the canon content, of course, and had held a vote a few months ago when to do the rebrand and summer turnover was chosen, so we're doing a little skip now. :>

Everything has been rewritten, vocabulary has changed, new lore that had been introduced before was expanded...but we're still the MOON SCARY! freaks of the Domain.
Huge thanks to every player who stuck with us the past few years! The pack would be nothing without you and I am so, so thankful that you're all here and I hope you'll continue having fun in this weird cult!
